Schmidt Architekten, managed by Christoph and Stephan Schmidt, is an internationally active architectural office in Kenzingen near Freiburg with more than 20 years of experience in the conception, planning and implementation of architectural and interior design projects for industry, commerce, residential construction, hotels and hospitality, trade fairs and showroom construction. Our 20-person team includes architects, designers, engineers and technical planners, and project managers from six nations who work in flexible teams depending on the project requirements. We develop and realize living spaces in the form of aesthetic, functional and sustainable architecture. We offer this added value to our customers, based on their wishes, objectives, budget and technical specifications.

Our Mission
Managing directors
Christoph Schmidt began his professional career with an apprenticeship in Carpentry which led him to complete his studies at the Technical University of Karlsruhe to become a qualified Architect. Today, his primary responsibilities encompass management, project development, drafting and design.
Stephan Schmidt is a structural engineer, plasterer and restorer in the trade. His previous professional experience includes the management of a trades business in addition to also accumulating many years of work in various architectural offices. He is active in the management, as well as in construction management and project development.
